This Art seminar for all levels combines the teaching talents of Psychologist/ Life Coach, Dr Qatana Samanen, with artists Alan Soffer and Libbie Soffer.
Creating From Passion seminar is a process 1. guided imagery with Dr Qatana 2. personal exploration & introspection 3. primal art-making experiments to open the portal of passion.
Beginners who experience insecurity in expressing themselves artistically will uncover a joyful and rapid transition in this setting. The experienced artist will begin to develop authentic work through a personal, PROCESS begun at the seminar.

This will be the 6th annual gathering in idyllic TREASURE BEACH...... painting in the garden, adjoining the warm ocean, with delicious food, great compatriots, music, friendship, laughter, and new ideas. It doesn't get any better than this.
Accommodations: comfortable suites, private baths, with daily maid service ....cabin on the beach available at additional cost.....singles share suites.....other homes for families and groups....Jake's resort nearby.
Meals: all but a few dinners served...... delicious, fresh Jamaican cuisine
Workshop: focusing on the fundamentals of great painting and collage....color, composition, and concept.....though both Alan & Libbie do mostly abstract work the curriculum will foster new ways to improve your representational work in this inspiring landscape.

**Encaustic Workshops: December 2011
3 day workshops present an opportunity for understanding hot wax through significant hands-on working time. Reading about encaustic is no substitute for actually doing it. Alan will get you past any trepidtions about technique and safety. Soffer organized the first national conference in the US in 2005. He has taught this medium from Scottsdale, AZ to Loveladies, NJ. 4-5 students at Soffer studio and up to 10 at art centers.
Cost - $395 for 3 day workshop + supply cost - $100
